Cleaning

Wok grates are made of cast iron with a matte black porcelain coated finish.

Some cooking methods may result in heavier staining, such as use of pots and pans made of metals other than anodized aluminum, stainless steel, or cast iron that can leave white or gray residue on wok grates.

Acidic food spills, such as tomato sauce, can leave permanent stains.

Do not immerse or soak grates in water.

Do not clean grates by heating them at high heat in the oven or leaving them in the oven during Self Clean mode.

Do not clean wok grates in the dishwasher. Wok grates are not dishwasher safe.

Surface rust can occur if wok grates or oven racks are soaked for long periods or not dried thoroughly.
